Status Update

I write this on the eve of June 1st, however my mom will probably edit it on the second, for the time being she is in a great slumber. Well, as of today, we only have a month left, until the end of our trip. We all miss you dearly also and look forward to summer activities, but wish to savor this last month of nonstop days of touring, and spending all this time with my family. It has truly been a wonderful trip. I have learned and seen so much, good and bad, and have a greater understanding of the world rather than just names on a map. The blog has stood for our detailed remembrance of the trip, and I am sorry once again that on the second half I have been very behind and haven't written very recently, I am only now writing about the first days of March. I did it in Christmas and then didn't have time, which was the source of it. I take full responsibility for my actions and wish to finish the blog entirely at the end of the summer, and will work to do my best. So, even when the trip is over, please keep reading for I will be posting many, many blog posts and reflections of the trip, plus my favorite this and that all in the R.V. Awards. It's terrible I'm so behind, but I am glad in a way I'm taking it slow and adding detail so I can remember this awesome trip for years and years to come.

Also on this day we are in Denver, to see the Rocky Mountain National Park promptly today. Only three states left out of the connected 48, so that makes 47 that we've set foot in, Arkansas and Colorado, but 45 we need to explore. After Denver we'll do a few more things in CO and then try to go straight to Oklahoma, but possibly go to Missouri to see some town called Branson. Oklahoma will be our last state that we've stepped foot in, well besides Alaska and Hawaii. And then to Arkansas, liars and hot springs alike, rolling hills too. We might pass into some states, Alabama and Mississippi. And then, we'll be done. But although we'll be done with this trip, I'm not sure we'll be retiring from traveling. Alaska and Hawaii are next on the list, and also we'll need to go back to a few states we didn't do justice, for instance Maryland and Minnesota. Iowa we did not justly explore either. I have caught the traveling bug and probably won't lose it. We also won't stop talking about it, and it will continue to be a part of our lives for years to come. For instance, Spencer and his friend Carl asked me this weekend at a campground what my favorite state was, and how homeschooling had been, and of course Carl's parents said that it was a great opportunity and that I would cherish it forever. Ummm... how many times have I heard that?

1086 times maybe?

But to answer there questions,

"There all wonderful, if I could pick one state it would be.... AlabamaAlaskaArizonaArkansasColoradoConnecticutDeleware etc etc. They wanted a straight answer so I named some of my favorites, and I'll officially tell you those on R.V. Awards. But for now, please hang tight as I describe the wonderful state of California in coming blogs, and others great states. Well, so be ready for our arrival, for we're coming around back to the grand ole state of Georgia. Clean up your houses, turn off the T.V., mark it on your calendar, and look out the window to see us. A month left! We're coming home!
