For 7 hours I did a lot of schoolwork and wrote a blog or two, and also read a book just for it's sheer enjoyment. Finally after 4 days of only traveling, we settled down on the other side of North Dakota more toward Montana, to stay two nights. In Illinois to Iowa, Iowa to Minnesota, and Minnesota to North Dakota, we mostly saw farms and farmhouses. That's pretty much mostly what those states have to offer. Besides Minnesota's Lake Superior shore and beautiful forests, Illinois's Chicago, these states had really nothing built to sight see. It was built for farming.
But in N.D. (North Dakota), it was rocky terrain and just a few big towns. When we stopped at Trapper's Inn, a destination for hunters hunting in the bad lands of North Dakota, (that's why it's called TRAPPER'S Inn) I went inside and saw many different kinds of elk and animal heads. We signed in, parked, and hooked up. Then for an hour and thirty minutes we saw the Western Republican Presidential Debate in Las Vegas. It was pretty funny to watch Romney and Perry fight though. Personally, I like Herman Cain. Romney's okay too. Perry is scary to me, and I think he's evil. Bachman is very loud and I must say annoying, and Ron Paul has some good ideas but bad ones on other spots. Gingrich is nice and all but confusing and sometimes I wonder if he seriously does want to be president. And Huntsman and Sanatorium, I just hope they even get themselves noticed. But hey, this is a blog about a 12 year old's adventures traveling the nation not an analysis of political ideals. Back to the blog!
Anyway, after we watched that for a while we went to the Trapper's restaurant and ate. After that we came back to the R.V., I made my bed, and Dad and I slept in the front and Mom and Rebecca in the back. The next day would bring pedestrian bison, yelling prairie dogs and a rough rider with glasses and a thick mustache. Goodbye, for now!
