Drive to Indiana and Kentucky (in two days)

Back to the blog. Two days ago (on the 10th of Nov.) we drove to Indiana and did a lot of schoolwork.
We stopped at a rest stop and Mom took out the dogs. There she met an African-American man who was admiring our vehicle, telling he was a truck driver and wanted to do what we were doing. Mom asked him if he wanted to see the interior, and he came in as I was eating the BBQ from last night. We talked for a while, and he showed us his, with two bunk beds and a drawer. It was cool to see the inside of a truck. I later found out his name was Albert Louis. We gave him the facebook (Bourne2Travel) and the blog, and he might be reading it right now. Nice meeting you Albert!

We got to a 4H center and looked around a little, seeing a playground and such. Many buildings, stables and other things were all there. We went into Kentucky that was really close and looked around, and then after that we went home and had a good subway sandwich. Then we went to bed. It was a good day.

Nov. 11:
Because they already had someone scheduled for the spot for the next day, we prepared to leave the 4H. Before we did, Rebecca and I went down below the hill and played at that big and cool little playground for a while before another family came, with three small children, a five year old girl, maybe four year old boy, and a two year old boy. There names were Addison, Aden, and Andrew.(MY NAME!) They were nice and stuff, and they kept wanting to play with us. Their mom was in the army.

Rebecca and I played a little fun game after they left, and then three girls of 10, 11, 13 came, named Kayley, Dakota, and Madison. We played tag and such with them. Then we left, because Mom gave us a text to come home. We left the 4H center and got into the R.V., and then left, doing a lot of schoolwork and such. We got to the R.V. Park I'm at now, and Mom looked at the dogs and asked if we could get them groomed. She called a grooming place, and we drove to it. There were several dogs in that small building, and it smelled of smoke. They said they would be done at 7:30, and we left and went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant. We also went to the grocery store, and when we came back I saw my dogs. They were so bad looking. Rocky had a bow, and he looked like a girl poodle with a triangle face. Emma looked worse. It was terrible. My dog is a dog, not a Beverly Hill Chihuahua! You have to see a picture some time. I hate it.

But anyway, I made my bed and read a little of Life on the Mississippi, and watched some of a CSI:NY. Then Mom read with me, and I finished Life on the Mississippi. It was a great book about Twain's time being a river boat pilot, and an account of some of the towns on the river, like St. Louis, New Orleans, and Memphis and such. I liked it. But my sleep I did not like. Mom stayed in the bed, which I didn't exactly want, and she went to sleep. The dogs came in between and on us, and then later in the night Rebecca came in and made me scoot over to the very edge. I didn't have the best night's sleep, but oh well. I'm awake now. Today we think we are going to a river boat thing, but I don't know really. Should be fun. Goodbye for now.

Really a bow? For a boy dog? Stupid.,
Andrew.
