Drive to Jackson, Tennessee

Yesterday we drove to Jackson, TN after pulling out. I had a great time at Nashville and Two Rivers. We saw a Christmas light show, ice sculptures, the grand ole opry and everything in between. It really was a wonderful time. I finished two blog posts and chilled with my doggies. Then we arrived in Jackson, which I thought would be littler. It was actually pretty big and industrial. We hooked up in a 14 site R.V. Park behind a parking lot and a hotel. There was a small blue painted building with a dirty rusty laundry room and an office on the other side. It was locked and no one was behind the cool desk with a motor cycle behind it. The guy obviously was a motor cycle guy, having all models and framed photos. There was an old-fashioned radio singing a lot out there, and he had a drop box with an envelope to put money in. We put in how much we needed for one night and Dad put David Bourne and his phone number on it. We then chilled out a while and stayed around. Then we went out for dinner, going to an Olive Garden. It was packed with people, so we had to wait in the jeep for 40 minutes. I read. Then after the amount of time, it buzzed. We got a good table and had a great Italian dinner. Our waitress was nice, her name was Tiffany and she was Terrific. She told us places to go in Texas. The cool thing was in my Mark Twain book Innocents Abroad (about Twain traveling in middle east and old world) he's at Venice. And we were at an Italian restaurant! It was kind of cool. Well, we left after a great meal and proceeded to the car. I got my bed out and slept. Pretty good day.
