Mom said she was going to eat and talk with some of the Mom's of the kids at RNE, my old elementary school. Rebecca wanted to go, but despite several, "Are you sure? You can go if you wants" I stated it would be awkward to eat lunch with the parents of your friends, also weird because you weren't in school. They left, and so did Julie, Dad still gone. I took a shower, blogged, read some history and comprehension from WWI, learning of their machine guns, newly found planes, submarines, and other things. Very interesting. I learned some science about planes and how they worked, drag, lift, thrust, gravity. I ate some pizza, because I was a little hungry as 11:45 rolled around, and I watched a 30 minute show. Dad called and we talked over the phone, and I said some of the things I learned. Dad was coming back in the R.V., since the people at the place had fixed it. Mom came back home, tried to get a friend over with me, but with no success. Dad called saying he was very close, and at like two we all came out into the long large driveway to navigate him in. We went up to the front, waiting for him, and talked to people who walked with us to school before we left. Dad came down and we helped him back in, which was a little hard. We then rested for a minute on the stairs to the driveway.
Dad told me to get everything out of the jeep, and I started on a cooler and a box full of table materials. Dad's phone rang, well not rang, really vibrated, never mind, and then he answered, said ok, and hung up. "Put all the stuff back in the car," he said. "We're going to the paint store to pick up a package, the FEDEX man (by this time all the things were put in, us in the car, driving) saw my number on the door that I placed when I expected him. He's been there before and is now telling us to be there in 7 minutes."
Seven minutes later, we got the package and talked to the nice FEDEX man, Ray. He had laid back hair, looking like a bald eagle, and grey with blue eyes. Nice guy. He drove out later. We went into the paint store for a short time, and went to the restroom and stuff like that, and then drove away ourselves. We got back home, emptied out the jeep, taking out everything from water bottles to dirty rags to cream cheese to scraps of papers to everything. I've seen more disgusting things in that time period then I EVER want to see again. Uhhhh. It makes me shudder.
We went to Office Depot, getting #2 Pencils for school and a big BROTHER printer for the dealership, and got all sorts of coupons and deals for it. We saw our caretaker, Martha, I'll explain her appearance later in the blogs. I like those stores. Very good ones. We then went and parked in another part to that big shopping center off Crossville Road, and saw all the old businesses we had seen before. That Mexican restaurant, Pike, and some others. We went into a ham store, and got some ham and turkey for the Bourne's Christmas Party on Sun. The people were very nice there, giving us cool samples and wishing us Merry Christmas. We took the honey baked ham and smoked turkey home, putting the ham in the freezer in the garage, the smoked turkey in the upstairs fridge. Rebecca's friends Mom, Lauren Lerma, a pretty tan lady with down hair and good clothes, and they got a cake for the party we were going to have with the other Jordan's, the Jeff clan. See, when my grandparents had children, they had three boys: Jeff (oldest), Greg, Andy (youngest) and Mom, who's name is Becky. Mom was born in between Greg and Andy. We had visited one branch, and their children, but not the other two. Today we're going to see the Jeff clan and watch a football game with them. Mrs. Lerma left, and Dad and I ate boiled peanuts that went in a pot. I never thought I would see that picture, peanuts in hot water in a pot. It's weird they're sometimes made that way.
Eating those, and me showing Dad graphs, maps, and stuff like that, Lauren Bourne coming with her dog, yet again, Sookie. Julie came back, we all laughed and had good times, and then later got the tree up, in pieces, of course, from the closet close to the garage at the foot of the stairs going up to the basement, and got boxes full of ornaments. I put one on, a picture of me with a mean face, and I put on a tall white snowman, a rocking horse, a nutcracker, a grandfather clock, and some other of my favorites. I put on one we had gotten from the trip, a picture of my heroes in a square with writing and their faces, Wilbur and Orville Wright. As in tradition, I played with the big nutcrackers, the green drumming one, and the red and blue imperial one, making them argue. Fun. We read stories from Christmas songs, and then I put the star on the top of the tree. I love Christmas. It's just a wonderful, great time of year. We all later said goodbye to Lauren, and we watched a 1:31 hour demo, which was very funny. We then went straight to bed. It was a great day.
Goodbye, for now.
Don't you hate back aches? Oh wait I wouldn't know,
Andrew.
