Zach sang a good song about doing God's will, even though he was an "ordinary Joe." He did some good singing as the choir backed him up. The whole skit was entertaining, funny, and had a good moral at the end, not forgetting the sound and light action that was great. It was a great skit and was funny at the end as Zach was tackled by a guy in a chicken suit. Zach was in the choir and band, switching with another guy as he went into his mailman role. There was great acting in the production, particularly Zach and a girl who played a girl named Max. (Sam in iCarly) I'm not saying the others did bad, but I could see that they practiced their lines the most and sounded the best... and were the most funny. I can't tell you all about the play, but it involved a mad scientist, two crazy stalkers, and a giant chicken. It was...truly unique.
After the long skit, all of the performers came down and I told Zach what a great job he did, asking to him about some things about the performance. I said good job to some of the other actors, and then went over by the sound and light equipment, seeing my older friend(like 14-15) friend Charlie Rogers, who is the son of one of my choir teachers, Mrs. Cheryl Rogers. I said hi, after not seeing him for 6 months, and, as he came out to give me a hug, he fell on me. I still have bruises. He has black hair and is tall, and has bangs. He got up and balanced himself a little, and then continued to stumble and fell on me again. We didn't get on the floor, but he fell onto me, would be a better indication. He said sorry as he got up and hugged, for a third attempt. We talked about the trip as I looked at him practice in his light routine. He seemed very enthusiastic about the journey. Art Rogers, his dad, was there and said hello to me, shaking me hand and telling me he's seen all the pictures about the places we've been. He looks a little like Mr. Howell, except he has a slimmer face and littler beard, only a mustache and goatee. Slimmer than Howell. We talked a little over favorite places and such. Then I saw Maggie and Cheryl Rogers. Mrs. Cheryl has curly blonde hair and is very pretty and nice, and Maggie has brown hair and is my age. I hugged with Mrs. Cheryl, and she was very excited to see me again. She invited me to go to the parlor upstairs to eat snacks and talk to the people performing. She also introduced me to the youth minister, and I said hello to him. His name is Jason. I met his nice wife later.
I did ask Mom if I could go, and she told me to come back after a good 20 minutes. I went with Zach backstage, going behind the curtain and up stairs to the parlor. I have been in many performances on that stage, it is all familiar to me. We went up stairs and went to the right, a parking lot on our left. We came into a room with tables, old couches and chairs, a little kitchen and numerous bookshelves. Many people were in there, and I saw a girl named Sydney and a little brown haired girl named Virginia. I talked to them, as people were eating and talking of the skit thing. There were desserts and muffins and stuff as people talked in the tables. Morgan was also there still not saying a word to me, just like 2 Sunday's ago. She's probably waiting for me to make the first move. Oh well. Mrs. Cheryl did a little bit of an embarrassing thing though as I stayed around, idly, feeling like an outsider for all the people in the play. She said, "DO ANY OF YOU KNOW ANDREW BOURNE IS BACK FROM HIS ONE YEAR TRIP AROUND THE COUNTRY YET?" I felt like I was being announced, and that people would think I was trying to be popular or say I was there. It got worse later.
The only thing I got was a water as I said hello to a drummer girl named Kelly, and some others. I still felt as an intruder, but I had a pretty good time talking to everyone. Sydney said that Becca still liked me. I then left as I saw my 20 minutes were up, and I got out, telling Zach and Sydney goodbye, and for Sydney to "tell everybody I said goodbye." me meaning for her to tell the people I knew I said goodbye. Well that's not what she did. She frankly yelled into all the room, "ANDREW BOURNE SAYS GOODBYE! HE'S LEAVING!" Like I was announcing myself. I felt like a jerk, and that people would think I was a bragging, proud, world traveler. Well that's not what I am. Just saying, in case you wanted to know.
I went into the fellowship hall and Mom told me to go to the yellow DOD, the youth place. I walked on over, alone, and checked myself in again, seeing the Scott guy. I then walked into the gym, passing the lobby. Some kids were playing basketball, and I joined them for a while before looking around and seeing the paintings on the brick walls and the box where they shine the light. Opposite the room was a stage, a big one, where Neal (blonde bushy tall thin) and Will( small, brown haired, funny) were looking at a video game on a phone. I talked to them about sports and other things a little, and then went down a hallway to the lounge area, seeing the pool table and hot chocolate and stuff. Becca, who has brown/blonde hair, a jersey accent, and is nice and a little freckled, was seated with another taller girl that looked a little like her. I met Becca at Camp Woodlands, a christian camp, and met her and two other girls on the way, on a bus. Zach was there too. Over the next few days, I paddle boated with her, went to a concert with her, and got to know her, also having an air-hockey competition against her. She had a broken arm but still won a few times. I remember everything about that camp, the cold showers, hot days, the big slide into the lake, the game they played at breakfast where you try to find a golden nugget, the events center, the recreation center, a giant green house turned into a basketball court, where I got hurt in a game by this guy, who hit me into a metal pole. It was a cool and fun camp. And I had a great time with Becca. She's nice.
I talked to Becca and her sister about Woodlands and all that other stuff, about the trip and what we've been doing. We talked a little before I saw an unexpected thing. By the hot chocolate was Tori, and... Randi, a little blonde haired freckled girly girl, who has hairbrushes and make-up and a lot of other things. I liked her at one point and she liked me, until she made me get her stuff and do stuff, and was prissy. I "broke up with her" but it was never really a relationship. And now I believe she hates me. So when I saw her at the youth place I had my mouth open wide. "WHAT?!" I repeated at least seven times, while Becca kept asking what it was I was surprised about. I went over by Randi and said, "Well, didn't expect to see you here. How are you?" She moved away as Jason told us to get to our classes. As Becca led me down a hallway and into a little room, I told her what was going on. We signed in on a sheet of paper clipped to the board, and everyone got around a long three sided square table in which was facing the board. We talked through the lesson as two ladies did a cool lesson, about a guy named Simeon who waited all his life to see baby Jesus (holy spirit told him he would see it) and woke up each day wondering if it would be the one day. He did see it, and it gave us a good moral, to hope. I liked the lesson and the teachers brought out a lot of examples and such, even talking about a guy named Greg Packer who got the first ever iPhone, the first ever to see President Bush after his inauguration, and some other things. I liked the lesson though. It had a good moral and was fun to listen too.
A blonde haired lady named Mrs. Sheridan went with the boys and sat on couches in the lounge area, quizzing us. At the end I told her all about the trip, just as we were leaving. She thought it was pretty cool. I said goodbye to Becca as Mom took me into the car and we left. We relaxed and I blogged for the remainder of the day. I also read, went outside and looked at different parts of the house, enjoying the Sabbath. Mom did Christmas cards, printing and writing addresses and putting them in envelopes. Dad worked outside and around the house, cleaning the pool and mowing the lawn. Rebecca watched a lot of T.V., not going to church or doing really anything. I did a variety of different things though. I saw Marco's, a brazilan guy who works for us, after not seeing him for 6 months. I had a pretty good day two days ago. Goodbye for now.
"THIS IS THE END OF ANDREW BOURNE'S BLOG POST!",
Andrew.
