FINALLY, FINALLY, LIBBY WAS ON IN FIVE! Five routines later, that is. I went to the restroom, got a water, and then came back, about to see Libby's group. We were all very excited to see Libby, who, in, was third to the last.May now sat down with us on the mat, and I congratulated her for doing all the cartwheels. Libby's group came on, and they were awesome as they came in and jumped around, danced, and made the funniest facial expressions ever. Three groups of four made a circle and put their hands in the middle, lifting another up. One of those was Libby, and she jumped up in the air, and made cool positions and stuff like that. She fake fell down into the circle, making an expression of fake scared. It was crazy she could do all those falls and throws and not get hurt. They did a very good routine, and got a lot of applause from the audience. They did all these flies and original techniques, they were the talk of the show. Well, the First Redeemer Flames, a 2nd grade group, were awesome too. They made me burn up with thrill and compassion. Get it, BURN up. Like, 'cause it's flames. Not funny? Well then, I just make a blog just for your enjoyment, and go through all that pain, and you won't laugh at a stinking joke? Oh is that how's it's gonna be, huh? Well I ought'a! (just kidding, I'm kidding)
After Libby's team went up, they went in a line to their locker room or something of another, and we hi fived and said good job to all of them. We watched to the end of all of the routines, seeing at the end a touching performance by the special needs children. Very sad and inspiring routine it was, to see them perform very well and then get little private awards for their things. The judges though, like at all of the other times, did not smile or nod or say anything, even though they were special needs kids. They just wrote on their little pieces of papers. Pretty Simon Cowelly though. At the end of the performance of Libby's team though, I said to an african american judge by me, "They did pretty good, didn't they?" She just smiled and nodded. When it ended the judges went into a little room, there were some announcements, and a christian rock band started playing songs. Then the unthinkable happened. As Will and I walked over across the mat to a row of bleachers that had Libby and her troop and a lot of snacks on it, and said hello to them, said there act was really cool and amazing and then talked for a little longer, all of the cheerleaders went to the big mat, and danced and did the basket thing... while there was people all around them dancing. They could've hurt other people or themselves with all those people moving about, like wild cats, being it so crowded. They didn't hurt anybody though. Rebecca, Will and I stayed down there, away from all the adults which were on the bleachers opposite the squads' ones. Rebecca was asked by May to do the basket thing and jump up, but I know Rebecca would never do that, with all those people and everything. Still, they tried to persuade her to do it.
Will and I left and stayed in the adult bleachers. Mom told Rebecca to come over and she said we were going to leave, because Lia said it took like an hour before they announced the winner. We said goodbye to everyone and left, telling Lia or Andy to text us who won. We drove home and at home, about 30 minutes or so later, I got a picture of Libby and some other people holding up a large trophy, and on it was inscribed many things, but the only one I could quite make out was... champion.
May got second! Isn't that so cool! THEY WON! We were so happy and joyful that Libby came in first place and May second, that we couldn't stand it. The hornets didn't win this time. It wasn't rigged. We were so happy, but also sad we couldn't of seen the announcement made, the tears and screams following, and the trophy given and said we were there when World Wide Cheerleading Stars Libby and May Jordan won their first trophies, in 2012. The people in 2048 will be so amazed when we tell them that in the International Sports Conference. I'm making stuff up. We were really glad they won though, and told them that by way of text. We then got ready to leave to Henry Friedman's house, and went up the big hill to get to the little house, coming out behind it on a little driveway, in which we parked. We had a forest on our right with other things, and a small garden, garage and windows looking into their table and kitchen. We went in and were welcomed by Mrs. Friedman, Mr Friedman and the kids. Mr Friedman is a really nice rock band guy who is a good conversationalist and is nice. He has a beard, and his thin and has pushed back hair. We talked for a while before Henry and Charlie, Rebecca and I went into their rooms and talked, deciding to go outside and do manhunt. Henry was with Rebecca and I with Charlie. Fun to find them and chase and hide behind bushes, waiting for them in the frosty December air and pale moonlight night. It was exciting to breath softly in the bushes of the front yard as Henry and Rebecca shone their flashlights, or in the forest in the backyard, searching for our pray. It was all fun, but we eventually got bored and went into their rooms again. Shortly thereafter, we went to the dining room where we spread out the food on a nice decorated dining room table. There was a salad, potato things, steak, and some other nice treats of the meal. We talked about stories and memoirs of the trip, and several other things as we ate that fabulous dinner. I had a really good time. Thank you, all the Friedman's!
After the meal we did cops and robbers, and once again Charlie and I were together, the robbers. We stole some books and hid them in the bathroom, but Charlie lost two to the cops (Henry and Rebecca) and I hid a book in Charlie's closet as we fought with sticks and shut the door. Much action commenced as the book was found, but we still had our other three. They hid their three and we came to a stalemate. Everyone lost interest and started watching a T.V. show. I found one book in Charlie's bookshelf, and two others in see through boxes in Henry's room. The robbers won that day. And, by the way, the books were The Harry Potter Series.
We played wii, doing fencing against each other. I was an awesome fencer and one many times against every one, but Rebecca and Henry truly won in a cutting exercise, where you cut a thing a certain way, trying to beat your player. I was pretty bad at it. Oh well. We left after truly a great stay, I know I did not say enough about it; it would take to long. That night we went home and went to bed, exhausted. We were truly were how MaPoc was two days before, exhausted and tired out. And the next day, we would relax. Or would we?
Goodbye for now. Thanks for reading through all of these long blogs. I really appreciate it.
Stadium so loud! I love the quiet in here,
Andrew.
