Westin and I's Excursion to Lineville, AL Part 2

(SEE WESTIN AND I'S EXCURSION TO LINEVILLE, AL PART 1 FOR FIRST PART OF STORY)

Before I begin this blog post, let me please inform you today is Elvis Presley's Birthday, he was born today on January 8th, 1935. We've been to his house at Graceland, in Memphis, TN. Happy Birthday to the King of Rock'nRoll! (See Graceland: Where Elvis Lives, for details of our time there.)

I thought it was going to be a great day. We walked through the front entrance, and looked to my left and right the desks of the salesmen, only one of which was there, Don Shepherd. He said hello as I introduced Westin, as my very good friend, or closest friend, as he is. We talked about the dealership and New Years Resolutions, how that it was crazy it was about to be 2012. I then showed him to Kristin, and she asked some more about our trip. I said that her office did not look like a funeral home, as some of the other employees said it did. Then we were going to talk to Jason, but he was on the phone so we avoided him for now. Joan was next to meet my friend, as Dad settled in his office. I gave him a tour, showing him the paper room, the utility closet, all the maps in the back rooms, the conference room (where I said to him nobody went in and so we could do book and computer in there) , the kitchen and break room, and where Tammy sits and does her magic. I also introduced him to Tammy, and she said later in the day her son Jeffry was going to come, which is something we looked forward to. I also took Westin to the big customer waiting room, saying later we could watch T.V. there if we wanted, and showed him the large high service shop, saying if he wanted to we could see them repair cars. At that moment in time we saw no cars being fixed, asking Jeff Diggs and the other guys like Bruce and Jeff H. if they had anything they were fixing. They said no, but tires were to be put on later. I then took Westin through the doors to the place where all the filing cabinets are, the old waiting room. It has changed so much since then. We stayed around for a while.

As I came into Dad's office and saw Dana (Cavin's girlfriend) and Cavin in there, I stayed behind by the wall. Dad announced that they were getting married. I moved my lips up and down, saying silently," With Cavin right?" He said yes and repeated it, and then I said, "Good!" meaning congratulations. I messed up. Oh well. I kind of got away from there, and talked to Jerry and introduced him to Westin. I gave him the A.M.E. book to look at, and he looked at it over the counter overlooking Joan. While that happened I talked to Jason, and he as usual joked around when I said my sister, not Julie. "Oh you think I don't know them, is that it? Well I do!" Then he joked around, and said I thought he was stupid. I thought the opposite, before coming into where he was I had said Jason was morally stimulating, and thought provoking, what he says. He said he was just joking around. I knew he was. 'Ole Jason, good ole Jason. Later, I got the computer and set it all up on the conference table, and blogged a little while Westin read about high elevations in a foreign country, out of the A.M.E. You know, you're hearing a lot about that book, aren't ya? It's very famous. World renowned. Has it's own FaceBook Page. Just joking.

Jeff Diggs and Tammy's son, Jeffry, came along. He's about Rebecca's age. We talked to him outside in the field, and Westin crept up to some birds, and heard their very interesting call. We wanted to play football or something, and went inside and looked around to see if anyone had one. We asked around, and to the people who weren't answering calls or out with customers, they said they didn't know of one. We went in Dad's office and even thought of using a plastic box as one, but that pipe dream soon faded. We went outside, seeing the big hill, and thought of a game: the person it would count to a big number, and the people would start at the top of the hill, and as he counts, run away. Then they would hide around in the cars. Westin started off being it, and Jeffry and I ran down the steep grassy hill as fast as our legs would take us. But I stumbled, and fell down. As he said ready or not I recovered, and ran even more. I had big jeans that were coming down, a sad handicap for me. I hid and went as far as I could go, coming behind some Chevy Cruz's, the little sedan's. I watched through the windows as Westin came down. I couldn't see Jeffry, and I was out of breath. Westin continued toward my way, and then I saw he spotted me. I ran down a small hill, and did a armadillo position under a white truck. I tried to slow down my breath. I saw Westin, where I was, and then I saw his feet, coming down. I breathed slowly. Then, he went further on in the cars. I was saved. I took a sigh of relief.

I crept out when the coast was clear. Next thing I knew Jeffry was being chased, through the cars. He was no match for Westin. By the rocks, he was pinned down and tagged. He went up on the hill and counted, as I said hello to Westin, him passing by me. We stayed by a white GMC truck, and another suburban. He ran over as Westin yelled out. "Why did you do that?" "He won't get us if I didn't."

"Why did you want him to get us?"

"I don't. I want him to get close. "

And oh did he get close. Very close. We had to back up a few cars as he searched through the aisles. We went behind cars as to avoid him, and in front and around them. Then he went back, and went all the way up the hill, sitting down on it. Was he done? Did he give up? Just taking a break? Westin, always up for adventure, put on his hood and ran over, ducking and weaving. He went up one side of the hill, a side part, one facing the dealership. I went on the right by the rocks, and stayed safely behind a blue dodge truck. What was he doing? Trying to get tagged? He had asked me to go with me, and I said no. This is a death wish, suicide. The wind blew, as he crawled up the hill. I heard a noise in his direction. Jeffry looked his way, breaking from his old position. He ran after Westin, and they both ran and dodged on the hill, having a little fight. I looked through the windows. Westin then was tagged, as he ran back down the hill.So now he was it, and Westin was a dangerous competitor. I knew I was to be tagged, and although
I wanted a good fight, I was exhausted. He saw me as I hid in other places, and we did a little cat and
mouse for a little. I said time out as I took a breath, him right by me. He wanted to get me, I was the last
person to be it. And he did get close, as I leaned against a car. He told me I was it, but I wanted and needed to get a drink
of water. So I went inside and got a little cup of water from a water cooler, and relaxed on two chairs out
side the offices. We relaxed for a while, and listened to Dad, Don, and a few older men talking, about church at one point.

Then we sorta watched T.V. in the waiting room, Westin also looking at a hunting catalog. It was getting toward lunch, and Dad told us we were going to a place where a guy named Johnny had a restaurant and bookstore, called High Points. Dana stated that it was probably closed, the people who owned it were very rich and took many breaks, and it was almost 2012 so they weren't open. Nevertheless, Westin, Dad and I headed on over to Ashland Square and saw the little connected building, and on it said it was closed. So, we decided to go to Subway and went to one by a cabinet factory, and went in. Westin got some it Italian sandwich, and I got my regular, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, union, mayonnaise, all on wheat. We ate one half of our foot long sandwiches, six inches. We bagged the rest. It was good. As I took a nap, we went by a lake and forest where Dad was planning to put a marina and campground. I got a good nap, although my neck hurt after. We then drove out, back to the Dealership and put the sandwiches in the fridge of the break room. Then we sorta watched T.V. in the waiting room, Westin also looking at a hunting catalog. Jeffry came back from lunch also, and we wanted to play some fun game. We walked to the hill, and once again it gave us inspiration. We would be army men, and we argued over what time period and what war. Finally we decided on current, people at camp about to be transported back to our homes in America. We were to be at camp at night, on a hill. Zombies were to come and pick us off, one by one, and attack us. The goal of the game was to run away. We started the game as me complaining about the food and wishing to be fun, and then hearing a noise and being dragged down. You go really fast if you go on your bottom, on that hill. People were dragged as others shot their attackers, pulling them up and shooting the zombies off. We all recuperated, even though some died.

I took control as a middle eastern guy named Saudi Ali who took control of the troop, placing guys with guns at certain places. A few of the guys, particually Jack Harse, who I also played. Jeffry was Lieutenant Luke, and Westin a guy named Sgt. Housenhour. The Harse guy thought that because Ali looked like a terrorist he shouldn't be in charge of Americans, so, as it also was a fun game, it tackled racial discrimination and showed that you can strive against it as well. Eventually though, we were picked off to like five people, and we ran down, amid falling down and guys being pulled down. Luke was pulled down, and Ali took his knifes and waved them around, sticking them in the zombies. I helped him back up, and gave him a vaccine to ease his zombie bites. Housenhour revealed we needed to get in the 'copter now, and so we got in. He drove away as Luke shot off zombies coming up, hanging on to our copter. The helicopter was really just a trailer by the dealership, but we used our imaginations. Harse was pulled down by a zombie wrapping his hands around him as we went up, and I as Ali jumped down and saved Harse. After that Ali made a rope come down, and as zombies attacked he let Harse take it first. He got on the rope as I was bit and pulled down, and I fell to my death before I told Housenhour he was in charge. As Harse recuperated he found out the man he had been prejudiced against had saved his life, and had a deeper appreciation and respect for the guy, apart from being ashamed of himself. The helicopter landed, and the men took their guns up (really air) as they went and went inside. It was an army base they were trying to find out if they could get help from, but sadly it was vacant. Looking into the utility closet of the dealership, we found men tied up who also had red eyes... they were zombies. What would these monsters do to us? We put a grenade in, shutting the door and running away. It blew up, in a fake way of course. We continued on as I checked through some rooms. By team mates were gone. I passed by Tammy and shot her, because she was a zombie. I couldn't find my guys as I asked Joan where they were, and then I looked around me. Zombies on all sides. What would happen? Would I be an undead chew toy? What should I do?

TO BE CONTINUED...(SORRY THIS IS REALLY LONG, IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY. SEE WESTIN AND I'S EXCURSION TO LINEVILLE, AL PART 3 FOR FINAL PART)
