August 6, 2011(MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

My birthday was on Saturday, August 6th, and it is now Tuesday, the 9th. Anyway, for that day, I woke up to see Mom and Dad hovering over me, and they said, "Happy Birthday. " Then they left to go take out the puppies and I went back to sleep.

I then woke up 30 minutes later and went outside to find Mom and Dad. I called both of them, to no results. Rebecca woke up and told me Happy Birthday and I got my shoes on and got on my bike to look for my parents.

On that bike ride, we did not find Mom and Dad, but got Dante's number. He was leaving.

Also we talked to Taylor and Abbey.

We rode back to the R.V. to find Mom and Dad sitting around the campfire pit. "We thought you were sleeping!" Mom said.

They asked me what I wanted to do for my b-day and I didn't have a direct idea. I did, however, want to see Captain America in 3-D.

Going back inside, I got a phone call from my great sister Lauren telling me happy birthday. I thanked her, and she said she just wanted to tell me happy birthday, and wish me a great day. Then, I got a call from my wonderful grandparents, and they were going to see their cousins in Alabama. They also wished me Happy Birthday.

After that, I got a call from my awesome sister Julie saying Happy Birthday. She said about the same thing as Lauren did. I thanked her also.

From this point on, I forget the order. Here are some people who wished me a happy birthday via texting, phone: Libby Jordan (and family), Dean Bourne, Nathan & Blade and Emily Bourne, Deanna Bourne (and Emily), Daniel Bourne, Dannielle and Blue Evans, and Barbara Bourne. I also heard from Kristin Thompson, Debbie Bell and Bill Slazyk.

Via Card: My grandparents (really funny card with money) and Greg, Beth, Barret, Bryan, and Rachel Jordan (that was really sweet).

Via Gmail Chatting: Henry F., Mary Beth T. , Sara S. , Austin H. and lots of folks via my mom's facebook.

I had a pancake extraordinaire for breakfast, and then took a shower. My imaginary friend Darren got me a great present, a cool suit and a nice song.

We drove out in the jeep, and Dad said, "Okay, Andrew. You're in charge of what to do."

"Well, I've always wanted to do the electric slide in a parking lot."

They all laughed.

"But seriously. I'm kind of hungry."

We pulled into a shopping center, and parked behind an Applebee's. We walked in, and a hostess with short black hair and glasses took us to a booth table, in front of the kitchen. It was a very nice looking restaurant. A waitress named Valerie welcomed us, and we all ordered drinks. Valerie said, "And I hear it is someone's birthday?"

"How did you know?"

(Little did I know that Mom had told the hostess that it was my birthday).

"Happy Birthday!" She said.

When she had our drinks and left us with them, I looked at the menu and decided I wanted steak with shrimp on it.

Before Valerie came back, Dad, Mom and I talked about my other 11 birthdays. Some involved family members, some Mom's and Dad's friends, but from 3 and on were mostly my friends from school and Weston (my best friend at the time, and one of my current best friends).

We also talked about the day I was born and that was interesting.

Then she took out our food, and it was amazing! I loved the steak, and it was just right. The shrimp topped with cheese literally melted in my mouth. So good!

After done, I was about to go to the restroom, when out of the blue, 4 waitresses came out in a line, clapping their hands, and singing,"HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FROM APPPLEBEES'S TO YOU! WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY, SO WE COULD PARTY TOO! "

And with that Valerie handed me a shooter, a shot sized chocolate shake. All of this time I sat bewildered, and dumb founded.

The shake was awesome. We also gave Valerie the address to the blog.

I recommend Applebees for all your birthday needs. It is very friendly, and has wonderful food. And, the booths and chairs are comfortable. I like Applebees. If you ever go to an Applebees in Scarborough, Maine, ask for Valerie.

After Applesbees, we went to Borders and I bought a lot of good books. I got: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Moby Dick (should be at that one for awhile), The Hunger Games, and Little Women (Mom actually bought it and I made read it after she is done). I was sad to find out that Borders was dying (going out of business, I mean). It is very sad whenever a bookstore dies. (tear,) :(

After purchasing those books, we just kind of rode around a little. More people called and the day turned to 4:00.

We went back home and hung around for a while 'til it was 6:00, and then we traveled to the movie theatre, called Cinema Magic.

Once there, we bought some popcorn, junior mints, and water. We went in, and saw some commercials. Finally the movie started with some people finding a shield in a cave somewhere where it is cold. Mom says I can't tell you anything more about the movie and I can't give away the end. What I can tell you is that it is a wonderful movie, blending action and a great plot with an American war-time feel to it. AWESOME MOVIE!

My birthday was awesome, fun, and I thank all who contacted me on my birthday. I had a wonderful day that day.

Happy Happy Blog Post, From Andrew B. to you! I wish I was reading it, so I could have fun too!

You guys are awesome,
Andrew.
