For our first full day in Maine, we had lunch at Ken's, a seafood place that will come again later in the trail of blog posts. Anyway, at that place Dad told me where we were gonna go in Maine. He showed us Kennebunk Port, where the Bush's have a vacation place.
After the meal, we drove in the car up the coastline (only a little). We saw an amazing cathedral with a glorious hall. It had stained glass paintings on either side and had a very medieval structure. I liked it a lot.
It was my friend's birthday that day, so I gave him a call.
We saw where the Bush's live, took pictures of nice houses, and just had a good time.
The sea was beautiful. I loved the way it crashed and then set up again, only to come down once more. The shells and rocks were ample, the sand like that out of a sandbox.
We then came back to Bayley's Camping Resort, and ate at their cafe. We were stationed in a booth. I said I wanted Lobster, and that I wanted to try it. (I have never tried it). Mom said, “I want you to try it, I just don’t want the first time you had it to be at a café in a campground.”
I got a BLT Wrap…
We drove back to the R.V., and when there I noticed that the book I had been reading (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring) was missing. It wasn’t until the next day I found out that I left it at the café. I retrieved it the following day. But that is a different story.
Au revoir! (I’m learning French),
Andrew.
