We came down a really cool road with an exit that had a great seashore, rocks that came out of the Earth and placed itself here. All flat. All brown, except black lines with waterfalls coming down them. These were called streaks.
Waves came up to the rocks, crashing against them and poofing the waves up and making a BOOM sound. It was really cool.
What was even more cool was that there was a forest RIGHT by the rocky seashore. It was amazing. There was literally an Alaskan forest right by a rocky seashore. So cool.
We went around on the rock(s) and was it amazing! It was so cool to walk on the platforms and jump from high points to low points. I also liked looking at the awesome streaks of black water reflecting off of the black stone streaks. It danced like ballet people.
Perhaps the coolest thing while going down U.S. 1, would have to be all of the lakes and rivers we saw. That was spectacular.
We then looked at little tide pools, saw the harbors, and many other things.
That night we had Dad's famous grilled chicken and Mom's salad. We also got to talk to the awesome Debby and Bill Slayzk.
For now, au revoir!
Living Life Large, (in lean times... oh wait, that belongs to Clark Howard. Sorry Mr. Howard)
Andrew.
