At about 12 to 1, we parked the jeep right outside of the carriage road. Cars are not allowed on the carriage roads. They were built back in the horse and carriage days by the Rockefeller's and still enjoyed today by park visitors.
We then got the bikes off of the rack, and walked the bikes over to the starting course to the trail.
Getting on it, we rode off.
We had a very fun time, and it was so beautiful with the lake able to get to by a breakage in the bushes, and the nice shore of the lake with mountains facing it. Very scenic.
It was a fun and beautiful bike ride. I won't forget it for awhile.
After the bike ride, we found a book store and I purchased a beat up worn version of The Two Towers. Then we had ice cream at Pepper's(an ice cream and pizza shop), and met a lady there that would later be a bigger part of the story.
We ended the day.
So you think you're a Rockefeller,
Andrew.
